iCivics iCivics teaches students how government works by having them experience it directly. Through games, players step into any role – a judge, a member of Congress, a community activist fighting for local change, even the President of the United States – and does the job they do. Learn about the presidential race process by managing your own presidential campaign, or about the bill of rights by running your own law firm that specializes in protecting their clients bill of rights. Digital History Digital history offers students an interactive experience of US historical events. The site is broken down into eras, topics, and primary source documents. Students can also use the timeline tool to understand the sequence of historical events. Follow the timeline and click on a designated box to see the related material. For example, to learn more about the American Revolution, scroll through the timeline and find the to heading that reads American Revolution. Then click either on the media, documents, textbooks, or teaching box to explore further. Once you click a box, a new window will open with documents and further choices.
